California inspection checklists
Based on the State Water Resources Control Board Construction Stormwater General Permit, Order 2022-0057-DWQ (NPDES CAS000002). Requirements vary by the site's risk level; sampling and reports go into SMARTS. Check each template against the current permit and your local requirements before relying on it.
-
California CGP site inspection
Routine stormwater inspection of an active construction site, from the entrance to the perimeter to the interior. For the operator's scheduled inspections and for MS4 or county oversight visits.
-
California post-storm inspection
Follow-up after a qualifying precipitation event (0.5 in. or more), focused on where water went and what controls failed.
-
California pre-precipitation inspection
Before a forecast qualifying precipitation event: checking that controls are deployed and pollutant sources are covered.
